CUMBERLAND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION TASK FORCE

The mission of the Cumberland Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force is to prevent substance abuse in Cumberland.  The mission is to be achieved by implementing the annual program plan created by the members of the Task Force, especially those provisions of the plan which are included in the contract with the RI Department of MHRH.

The Cumberland, R.I. Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force is a coalition of voluntary members representing both the private and public sectors of the community.  The Task Force is concerned with developing, implementing, and advocating of effective community-based substance abuse prevention programs as they pertain to the Rhode Island Substance Abuse Prevention Act of 1987, and any other promulgation of standards related to substance use accepted by the Task Force.

THE TASK FORCE IS ALWAYS OPEN TO NEW MEMBERS. 

MEETINGS ARE AT THE CUMBERLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY ON THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH AT 7:00 PM.
